Proofreading
When you need a fresh set of eyes on your project, appoint a proofreader to do the heavy lifting.
Why pick up a proofreader?
Pick up the services of a proofreader when you need to ensure clarity, consistency and credibility for you and/or your business or organisation.

Clarity
A proofreader will be able to bring clarity to what you have written, by refining copy and reducing additional words. Of course, sometimes, more is more, and any brief will define requirements.

Consistency
When we are too close to something we can miss the small details like casing, tone or use of consistent language and words. This is where a proofreader can bring a fresh pair of eyes to ensure your project reads well from start to finish.

Credibility
Even the smallest spelling or grammar mistakes can cuase...oops...cause a reader to question your credibility. Often this might be the only need for a proofreader and it can be one of the most important reasons.
PROOFREADING SERVICES
I am offering complimentary proof-reading services to people, business, and organisations that I align with and would like to offer this to.

Why? I am working towards upgrading my CIEP membership from Individual Entry-Level to Intermediate and want to achieve 100 hours of proofreading work.

About Me
Across the 24 years of my marketing career, I have proofread, edited and written many articles, blogs, websites, documents, and more. If I'd known my path would lead here I would have kept a timesheet. Rest-assured I am not starting from scratch, but as I wish to specialise and upgrade my CIEP membership, I would like to include 100 hours of proofreading as part of that upgrade. Which is where you come in. I am offering complimentary (or donation) proofreading services that I can document for my application. Thank you for considering me, and I hope to hear from you soon.

National Poetry Competition Winner
Around the age of 7 or 8 at Primary School, I won a National Poetry Competition. My poem was printed in a Ginn workbook but I have no recollection of the poem other than it was the 'five senses' format. A forgotten moment that has inspired my writing journey today.
